Description

HBC 10 control is a heating bath and circulation thermostat with a maximum working temperature of 250 °C and a high-grade stainless steel bath offering a fill volume of 7,5 – 10,5 litres. Temperature is controlled from 20 to 250 °C with a stability of ± 0,01 K. A colour TFT graphic display shows all relevant process data, and the operator can switch from internal to external regulation at the push of a button. High-quality insulation enables especially rapid heat-up times. Multilingual, pictogram-supported menu guidance via push-and-turn knobs makes navigation straightforward and safe. The bath front is fitted with a drain valve; a hose is connected for emptying so the user never contacts the tempering medium directly. An innovative detachable remote control allows operation from up to 10 metres away. A powerful pressure and suction pump in a temperature- and chemical-resistant plastic housing, an integrated cooling coil, adjustable safety circuit, safety classification III (FL) according to DIN 12876, electronic timer (0 – 99 h 59 min), optical and acoustic warnings, and USB/RS 232 interfaces for labworldsoft® control and online firmware updates characterise this instrument from manufacturer IKA. Pack size is 1 pc.

What is this article?

HBC 10 control, Heating bath circulator, 7-10 l is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes IKA for laboratory use. It sits in Water & oil baths, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

A water bath surrounds a vessel with warm water. An oil bath reaches higher than water's boiling point. The tank volume and the maximum temperature are the specification. A cover and a level matter, because a dry bath element overheats.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
