Description
Heating mantle PILZ® -Classic-Line- LG2ER with power controller is a laboratory housing heating mantle for round-bottom flasks of 1000 ml capacity and 131 mm diameter. It operates at 230 VAC with a rated power of 300 W and a maximum permissible operating temperature of 450 °C. The heating element is hand-crocheted from glass silk and housed in a powder-coated, robust metal enclosure offering high chemical resistance. Permanent warning labels with volume marking and a two-part design with a liquid-tight upper section support safe routine use; all switches are safety switches against unintentional operation. Equipment includes a main on/off switch, an integrated mechanical power controller for continuous 0–100 % output, and a heating-zone switch with “Heating” status lamp for zone 1 or zones 1+2. From manufacturer Winkler, the unit has a detachable plug connection (0,50 m cable), a personal protection plug with residual-current (FI) function and a Schuko type E/F cable (1,00 m). Width and height are each 205 mm; net weight is 2,5 kg.

Questions about Heating mantle metal-cased PILZ® -Classic-Line- LG2ER 1000ml 230V
What is this article?
Heating mantle metal-cased PILZ® -Classic-Line- LG2ER 1000ml 230V is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Winkler for laboratory use. It sits in Heating mantles, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A heating mantle cups a round-bottom flask so the heat meets the glass without a bare flame. The flask volume the mantle was knitted for is the specification. A 1 L mantle under a 250 mL flask heats the air, not the liquid.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
