Standard heating mantle PILZ® -Classic-Line- G2H is a high-performance laboratory mantle for 2,000 ml round-bottom flasks (Ø 166 mm). It runs on 230 VAC at 1,200 W and allows a maximum permissible operating temperature of 900 °C, above the standard G2 series rating. The hand-crocheted glass-silk heating body is shaped for round flasks to promote uniform heat transfer. Two heating zones are selected via a series-parallel rotary switch with OFF / 25 % / 50 % / 100 % settings: 25 % connects zones 1+2 in series, 50 % energises the lower zone, and 100 % runs zones 1+2 in parallel. A base opening of Ø 62 mm supports bottom access where required. From manufacturer Winkler, the mantle includes a detachable plug connection (0,50 m cable) together with a personnel-protection plug with residual-current function and a Schuko type E/F mains cable (1,00 m). Net weight is 2,5 kg (gross 2,7 kg). This Classic-Line G2H unit is intended for demanding flask heating tasks that need elevated power and temperature capability in the laboratory.
