Heating mantle with digital display and magnetic stirrer LBX HM02-D, 2000 ml, is a laboratory heating mantle with electronic temperature setting and magnetic stirring for larger flask volumes. An external Pt100 temperature sensor provides real-time temperature control of the sample liquid on the digital display, supporting rapid, uniform and safe set-point adjustment. Surface temperature on the mantle reaches up to 450 °C; because of heat loss, the maximum temperature attainable in the sample liquid is lower. The stirrer covers 0–1600 min⁻¹, and heating and stirring may be used simultaneously in continuous operation. Accessories included are a magnetic stir bar, an aluminium stand rod, a holding device and a Pt100 temperature probe. Sized for 2000 ml vessels and supplied as one piece from manufacturer Labbox, the unit runs on 220 V / 50–60 Hz and carries a two-year warranty. Net weight is 7,0 kg. Appropriate for preparative chemistry and process-scale laboratory work requiring controlled heating with concurrent magnetic mixing.
