Description
Heating jacket for cell culture flask MyFerm 10 litre is designed for uniform, constant and homogeneous temperature control of reaction vessels and fermenters via the outer wall, without the need for complex double-walled glassware. Suitable for vessels of approximately 230 mm diameter and 10 litre working volume, the flexible jacket measures 210 mm in height and 690 mm in length and delivers a heating output of about 800 W at 230 V AC. A fixed PT-100 sensor is integrated, with 1,5 m leads terminated in a diode plug for straightforward connection. Operating temperatures can be selected freely within the +30 °C to +70 °C range, enabling a wide spectrum of process conditions to be simulated. The unit may be run with the internal sensor or an external probe as required. This heating jacket from manufacturer Landgraf HLL is intended for use with the matching electronic controller L14020TER and supports reliable tempering of MyFerm reaction vessels and cell culture flasks in laboratory fermentation and bioprocess workflows.
This article is part of Cell culture flasks, in Cell culture.

Questions about Heating sleeve for MyFerm 10 litre cell culture flask
What is this article?
Heating sleeve for MyFerm 10 litre cell culture flask is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Landgraf HLL for laboratory use. It sits in Cell culture flasks, inside Cell culture, in Microbiology lab supplies.
A culture flask is a flat vessel with a cap, treated so adherent cells attach, or untreated for suspension cells. Growth area in square centimetres, the cap filter or a plug seal, and the treatment are the specification. A filter cap allows gas exchange. A plug seal does not.
Cell culture grows cells outside the body. The medium, often with serum, supplies what the flask does not. A flask or a dish is the vessel, treated so the cells attach or left untreated so they float. Contamination by microbes, or by another cell line, is the ordinary failure. Cold-chain articles in this work, including serum, are never part of free standard delivery. Lines are catalogued by ATCC. Papers are on PubMed. Practice is summarised by the WHO laboratory biosafety topic.
