Description
Hei-PLATE Mix'n'Heat Expert with EU cable is a magnetic stirrer hotplate for reliable laboratory stirring and heating. Separate displays for stirring and heating keep all values clearly readable, while two push-turn knobs with LED rings indicate active functions. Separate timers for heating and stirring, together with user-friendly menu navigation, simplify experiment control. Three heating modes are offered: FAST for rapid heat-up, plus PRECISE and PRECISE+ for accurate target temperatures without overshoot, protecting sensitive samples. The device is compatible with Pt1000 and dual Pt1000 sensors for simultaneous measurement in sample and medium. Stirring features three-stage start-up behaviour, adjustable stir-bar direction and automatic break-away detection for consistent mixing. Safety elements include a large distance between hotplate and control panel and an optical residual heat warning above 50 °C. The patented Kera-Disk® plate of anodized aluminium is chemical- and scratch-resistant, measures 145 mm in diameter and enables fast heat-up on a compact footprint. This model from manufacturer Heidolph is supplied as 1 pc with EU cable.
This article is part of Magnetic stirrers, in Stirring, shaking & mixing.

Questions about Hei-PLATE Mix'n'Heat Expert -- EU-plug
What is this article?
Hei-PLATE Mix'n'Heat Expert -- EU-plug is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Heidolph for laboratory use. It sits in Magnetic stirrers, inside Stirring, shaking & mixing, in Lab instruments.
A magnetic stirrer is the motor and the plate under the flask. Many also heat. The stirring capacity is the litres of a water-like liquid it can turn, and a viscous liquid defeats a rating that was measured on water.
Stirring keeps a mixture uniform or helps a solid dissolve. A magnetic stirrer spins a bar inside a closed vessel. An overhead stirrer drives a shaft when the liquid is viscous or the volume is large. A vortex mixer agitates a tube. A shaker moves a whole rack or a plate. The shape of the impeller and the speed decide whether the liquid turns over or merely spins. The vessels being stirred are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
