Description
ICC basic IB R RO 15 pro is an integrated tempering and mixing system with 15 stirring positions for glass vessels up to 250 ml. The package comprises the ICC basic immersion thermostat, the BL.ICC bath bridge and the PDS.IB.R.RO pump connection set with flow distributor for even tempering of the stainless-steel bath over its entire length. Fifteen laser markings facilitate accurate placement of sample vessels in the bath. Maximum temperature reaches 130 °C, with a usable bath opening of 489 x 313 x 98 mm and sample immersion depths of 35–75 mm. The stainless-steel bath is size L for the RO 15 magnetic stirrer and offers 25 l volume. Overall external dimensions are 678 x 361 x 355 mm. When water is used as the tempering medium and temperatures above 80 °C are required, PP floating balls are recommended to insulate the bath and minimise evaporation losses. This complete system from manufacturer IKA is designed for simultaneous temperature control and multi-position magnetic stirring in routine laboratory workflows.
This article is part of Water & oil baths, in Heating, drying & cooling.

Questions about ICC basic IB R RO 15 pro, Immersion circulator with magnetic stirrer and bath
What is this article?
ICC basic IB R RO 15 pro, Immersion circulator with magnetic stirrer and bath is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes IKA for laboratory use. It sits in Water & oil baths, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A water bath surrounds a vessel with warm water. An oil bath reaches higher than water's boiling point. The tank volume and the maximum temperature are the specification. A cover and a level matter, because a dry bath element overheats.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
