Description
ICP-MS Multi-Element Standard Solution CR-58 ROTI®Star is a ready-to-use calibration standard providing twenty-four elements in 5 % HNO3 for inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. The blend includes As, Ba, Bi, Cd, Co, Cr, Cs, Cu, Fe, Ga, K, Mn, Na, Ni, P, Pb, Rb, Se, Sr, Th, Tl, U, V and Zn at defined levels, with potassium and sodium at 1000, phosphorus at 100 and the remaining analytes at 10. Density is about 1 g/cm³ and the boiling point exceeds 83 °C, which supports stable laboratory handling. Offered in a 100 ml pack, this ROTI®Star multi-element standard from manufacturer Carl ROTH serves instrument calibration, method validation and ongoing quality control in ICP-MS workflows. Laboratories in environmental monitoring, materials characterisation and research can prepare mixed calibration series efficiently and maintain coherent multi-element response across major, minor and trace analytes. The CR-58 composition reduces reliance on large sets of single-element standards and fits aqueous nitric acid sample pathways typical of routine ICP-MS trace-element analysis.
This article is part of ICP, AAS & ion standards, in Analytical standards & reference materials.

Questions about ICP-MS Multi-Element Standard Solution, CR-58 ROTI®Star 24 elements in 5 % HNO3
What is this article?
ICP-MS Multi-Element Standard Solution, CR-58 ROTI®Star 24 elements in 5 % HNO3 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carl Roth for laboratory use. It sits in ICP, AAS & ion standards, inside Analytical standards & reference materials, in Lab chemicals.
An ICP, AAS or ion standard is a solution of a stated element or ion at a stated concentration, with an uncertainty. It is the calibration point of a spectrometer or an electrode. The matrix, often dilute acid, has to match the method. A standard past its expiry is not that concentration.
A reference material is the article against which another result is compared. Its value is stated, and the uncertainty of that value is part of the product. An ICP or ion standard is a solution of known concentration. A volumetric standard is for titration. A chromatography standard is the peak you match. The grade names, including pharmacopoeia and ASTM, say which impurities were limited. Identity is checked on PubChem. Names follow IUPAC. Medicinal grades follow the European Pharmacopoeia and USP.
Which category should I open next?
The category is Analytical standards & reference materials. The sub-category is ICP, AAS & ion standards. The catalogue is Lab chemicals.
Shelves beside this one are Chromatography standards (GC, HPLC, pesticides), Reference substances & reagents (other), Volumetric standard solutions (titration), Reagents for analysis (Ph. Eur., ASTM, DIN), Spectroscopy & physical property standards and Indicators & indicator solutions.
What should I check before I order?
The technical information on this page is the manufacturer's sheet. Read that, not a rewritten specification.
When this page shows a safety data sheet, use that manufacturer file. Hazard text does not belong in the sales description. For a pack size, a grade or a certificate that is not on the page, send a quote request or contact the team.
