Description

ICP Multi-Element Standard Solution CR-69 is a ROTI®Star multi-element calibration standard containing 16 elements in 5 % nitric acid for atomic spectroscopy. It is intended for ICP-OES, ICP-MS and related multi-element determination workflows where stable reference concentrations are required. The solution provides aluminium at 240 mg/l, barium 50 mg/l, boron 960 mg/l, calcium 480 mg/l, chromium 50 mg/l, copper 240 mg/l, iron 240 mg/l, lithium 480 mg/l, magnesium 480 mg/l, manganese 50 mg/l, potassium 50 mg/l, silver 50 mg/l, sodium 480 mg/l, zinc 50 mg/l, cobalt 50 mg/l and lead 50 mg/l. Physical data include a density of approximately 1 g/cm³ and a boiling point of 83 °C; the nitric acid matrix is associated with UN number 2031. The balanced elemental suite covers major, minor and trace analytes commonly measured in environmental, materials and industrial sample matrices, helping laboratories maintain consistent multi-element quantification across ICP-based methods.

This article is part of ICP, AAS & ion standards, in Analytical standards & reference materials.

Questions about ICP Multi-Element Standard Sol. CR-69, ROTI®Star 16 elements in 5 % HNO3, 100 ml

What is this article?

ICP Multi-Element Standard Sol. CR-69, ROTI®Star 16 elements in 5 % HNO3, 100 ml is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carl Roth for laboratory use. It sits in ICP, AAS & ion standards, inside Analytical standards & reference materials, in Lab chemicals.

An ICP, AAS or ion standard is a solution of a stated element or ion at a stated concentration, with an uncertainty. It is the calibration point of a spectrometer or an electrode. The matrix, often dilute acid, has to match the method. A standard past its expiry is not that concentration.

A reference material is the article against which another result is compared. Its value is stated, and the uncertainty of that value is part of the product. An ICP or ion standard is a solution of known concentration. A volumetric standard is for titration. A chromatography standard is the peak you match. The grade names, including pharmacopoeia and ASTM, say which impurities were limited. Identity is checked on PubChem. Names follow IUPAC. Medicinal grades follow the European Pharmacopoeia and USP.
