Description
INC 125 F digital S003 is a forced-air incubator engineered for precise temperature control in microbiological applications up to 100 °C. Pre-warmed air is introduced into the chamber to achieve rapid, stable and uniform tempering across the generous 125-litre interior—the largest volume in its class—which accommodates up to six wire shelves at once. The working range spans RT +8 °C to 100 °C with excellent temperature constancy and homogeneity of ±0,3 K. Electronically adjustable fan speed (0–100 %) and ventilation flap (0–100 %) allow fine control of internal air circulation, while high-quality chamber insulation supports efficient temperature management and optimised energy use. An additional inner glass door enables sample observation without heat loss. The corrosion-resistant AISI 304 interior features rounded corners and smooth surfaces for straightforward cleaning, complemented by a 120 °C decontamination mode that aids disinfection and reduces cross-contamination. A large LCD display together with counter, timer and temperature-controlled timer functions supports reproducible experimental conditions. This model from manufacturer IKA is supplied with a Swiss plug, is stackable (up to two units) with suitable accessories, offers a reversible door hinge on request and provides IQ/OQ qualification on demand.
This article is part of Incubators, in Heating, drying & cooling.

Questions about INC 125 F digital S003, Incubator with Swiss plug
What is this article?
INC 125 F digital S003, Incubator with Swiss plug is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes IKA for laboratory use. It sits in Incubators, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
An incubator holds the mild, even temperature a culture needs, often 25 °C or 37 °C, sometimes with carbon dioxide. It is not a drying oven. Uniformity and, for cells, the gas control are the specification. A flask of cells in a drying oven is a dead flask.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
