Culture cultivation device (Jumo control) 2 × 5 litres is a compact laboratory culture system with two chrome-nickel steel vessels of 5 litres each, each supplied with a lid and stirrer for controlled pasteurization, maturation and final cooling. The white polypropylene housing has a 10 mm wall thickness and is operated via a touchscreen panel offering 50 programmes with automatic storage of process parameters. Pasteurization temperature ranges from 10 °C to 99 °C for 1 minute up to 100 hours; maturation is set between 10 °C and 60 °C over the same time window, and final cooling covers 10 °C to 40 °C. Uniform heating is provided by a chrome-nickel steel heating element together with a circulation pump rated at 15 litres per minute; water inlet is a ½-inch hose connection. Mother cultures are held in Duran glass bottles. The device stands on an anodized aluminium base frame of 25 × 25 mm square tubing and requires a 3~400/N/PE 16 A mains connection. Supplied in this form by manufacturer Aerne Analytic, it suits dairy, food and microbiology laboratories that need programmable dual-vessel culture preparation at moderate batch volumes.
