Description

Insulation lid 60 L, Tmax. 200 °C is a fitted thermal cover for 60 L drums that limits heat loss and shortens heating cycles in laboratory and process environments. With a maximum permissible operating temperature of 200 °C, it retains process heat at the vessel top while remaining compatible with drum heater WODTX061. The outer shell is PTFE-coated glass silk fabric, chosen for thermal stability and chemical resistance under typical heating-bandage conditions. Two openings with Velcro fasteners allow filling or sampling without removing the lid, so the insulation stays in place during transfer steps. Protection rating IP54 supports use in demanding industrial and laboratory settings when the assembly is installed as intended. Supplied as a single piece from manufacturer Winkler, this lid is intended for container heating setups where top-surface heat escape must be reduced. Pairing with a matching drum heater and appropriate base insulation further improves temperature uniformity and energy efficiency during controlled warm-up of drum contents.

Questions about Insulating Lid 60L Tmax. 200°C

What is this article?

Insulating Lid 60L Tmax. 200°C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Winkler for laboratory use. It sits in Muffle & tube furnaces, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

A muffle furnace surrounds a sample with heat for ashing or ignition, often to 1100 °C. A tube furnace heats a sample in a controlled atmosphere inside a tube. The maximum temperature and the chamber size are the specification. A drying oven is not a furnace.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
