Description

Ion-selective ISE combination electrode "Ammonia, NH3" is a solid-state combination sensor for ammonia concentration measurements in the range of 0,02 to 17000 ppm. As a single-rod ISE assembly it unites measuring and reference elements, eliminating the need for an additional reference electrode or separate electrolyte solution and allowing dry storage when not in use. The integrated driTEK-Teflon reference system enables immersion measurements in diverse sample environments and supports reliable operation both in the laboratory and in the field. Robust plastic shaft construction is intended to deliver extended electrode lifetime under demanding handling conditions. Part of the WinLab® ion-selective combination electrode line from manufacturer Windaus, the sensor works with any ion meter or pH meter equipped with an mV range. At order entry the desired termination must be indicated: S7 plug head, 1 m cable with BNC connector, or 1 m cable with DIN connector. This ammonia-selective combination electrode provides a compact, immediately deployable solution for NH3 ion concentration work without auxiliary reference hardware.

Questions about Ionselective ISE Combination Electrodes ''AMMONIA NH3''

What is this article?

Ionselective ISE Combination Electrodes ''AMMONIA NH3'' is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Windaus for laboratory use. It sits in pH electrodes & sensors, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.

A pH electrode is a glass membrane and a reference. It is a consumable: the glass ages, the junction clogs, and the reading drifts. A refillable electrode and a gel electrode differ in how they are maintained. The connector has to match the meter. The electrode, not the meter, is usually what is wrong.

A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
