It combines a large weighing range with a robust stainless-steel weighing plate and a durable plastic die-cast housing that provides a stable stand, protects the weighing technology and withstands everyday industrial use. Compact dimensions allow heavy loads to be weighed with high precision even in confined spaces, supporting applications such as detecting small weight differences in consumed gas, mechanical wear, rock samples, minerals, geodes or silver. Industry 4.0 connectivity is built in via the KERN Universal Port (KUP) from manufacturer Kern, enabling plug-on adapters for RS-232, USB, Bluetooth, WLAN or Ethernet without opening the housing; an optional extension box supports up to three adapters in parallel. The KERN Communication Protocol (KCP) permits remote query and control.
