IoT-Line bench scale KERN FKB 30K1 is a high-resolution industrial bench scale offering a large weighing range and a robust stainless-steel weighing plate, with resolution of up to 30.000 points for precise industrial weighing. Its sturdy plastic die-cast housing ensures a stable stand, shields the internal weighing technology and remains resistant in daily use. Thanks to the combination of wide capacity and compact footprint, heavy loads can be determined with high accuracy even where space is limited. Typical uses include tracking minute weight changes such as gas consumption, abrasion on mechanical parts, rock samples, minerals, geodes or silver. For Industry 4.0 integration the scale features the KERN Universal Port (KUP) from manufacturer Kern, allowing external interface adapters (RS-232, USB, Bluetooth, WLAN or Ethernet) to be simply plugged on without opening the housing; with the KUP-13 extension box up to three adapters can run in parallel. The KERN Communication Protocol (KCP) supports remote interrogation and control. PRE-TARE, freely programmable weighing units (for example wire length in g/m or area weight in g/m²), a spirit level with foot screws and a protective working cover complete the standard equipment.
