Four silicone-coated alloy steel load cells are protected against dust and splash water to IP67. The evaluation electronics correspond to the KERN KFC-TM design and deliver the familiar IoT-Line operating concept from manufacturer Kern. Industry 4.0 data exchange is handled through the KERN Universal Port (KUP) on the housing, or in parallel over three interfaces when a KUP Extension Box is used. A built-in real-time clock records weighing results with accurate time information and continues with the correct time after power loss.
