Laboratory autoclave Laboklav 55-B is a steam sterilizer for laboratory use with a usable chamber volume of 55 l and usable space of 410 × 460 mm (Ø×L). It can be employed as a freestanding or benchtop unit and operates at 2,8/−1 bar overpressure with sterilization temperatures from 98 °C to 138 °C. From manufacturer SHP Steriltechnik AG, the autoclave features a TÜV-tested motorized safety lock with lip seal and a separate integrated steam generator of 6,6 kW using dry heating elements. An integrated demineralized-water storage tank allows automatic and manual filling with level monitoring. Further equipment includes a thermal lock per TRB 402 and DIN 61010-2, a flexible PT 100 reference sensor for liquid sterilization, gravity and pressure-change venting for destruction sterilization, and integrated water-cooled, temperature-controlled exhaust-steam condensation. A validation port, TÜV-tested safety valve, internal memory for up to 150 cycles, collective drain connection, chamber floor support, timer function and powder-coated housing are provided. Fully automatic microprocessor control offers open solid, waste and liquid programs plus ten password-protected freely programmable cycles. A 32-bit system with multicolor touch panel, foil keypad, 16 GB storage, PDF batch documentation and USB transfer is included. External dimensions are 740 mm width, 600 mm depth and 765 mm height; net weight is 125 kg and rated power 7100 W.
