Description
LaboStar PRO TWF is an ultrapure water system that produces high-purity water directly from drinking water. The compact unit combines prefiltration with a reverse-osmosis stage; product water is collected in an integrated 7 litre storage tank and continuously recirculated through a polisher module. Type III water can be withdrawn from the tank, with quality shown on the display, while Type I water is dispensed at 0,055 µS/cm, corresponding to 18,2 MΩ·cm. The system from manufacturer Evoqua Water Technologies (LaboStar ®) delivers a pure-water production rate of 10 l/h and supports TOC values below 10 ppb with online TOC measurement. Feed-water limits include pressure 3–5 bar, inlet conductivity below 1400 µS/cm, SDI below 3, free chlorine below 0,1 mg/l, CO2 below 20 mg/l and temperature 5–30 °C. Electrical supply is 100–240 V, 50–60 Hz at max. 270 W; water connections are 1/2″ or 3/4″ IG. Approximate dimensions are H 535 × W 400 × D 520 mm, net weight 20 kg and shipping weight 24 kg. The system is supplied ready for operation including the first module and filter set. Ultrafiltration and UV irradiation are not included on this model.

Questions about LaboStar PRO TWF
What is this article?
LaboStar PRO TWF is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Evoqua Water Technologies for laboratory use. It sits in Ultrapure & pure water systems, inside Water purification, in Lab instruments.
A pure-water system, often by reverse osmosis and deionisation, feeds the laboratory. An ultrapure polisher takes that water to the resistivity and organic levels HPLC or cell culture ask for. Production rate and the feed water it expects are the specification. The system is not a cooler.
Laboratory water is a reagent. Tap water carries ions, organics and microbes that become part of every result they touch. A pure-water system takes most of them out. An ultrapure system, often a polisher after a first stage, is what HPLC, cell culture and trace analysis ask for. Resistivity, total organic carbon and endotoxin are different claims. A cartridge is spent when the number drifts, not when the calendar says so. The measurement of those impurities sits with NIST and the BIPM.
