Description
LabSen 751 pointed pH electrode is designed for direct insertion into solid or semi-solid samples, especially foods such as cheese, flour-based products, meat and fruit. Manufactured with patented Swiss sensor technology and materials from APERA Instruments, it features a LabSen S-type pointed low-impedance glass membrane that reaches fully stabilised readings in 15 to 30 seconds while remaining up to ten times more robust than conventional membranes, lowering the risk of breakage during penetration or impact. A food-grade titanium-alloy housing protects the sensor and is easy to clean. Polymer electrolyte with a hole-diaphragm structure allows direct sample contact without clogging and requires no refilling. The long-life reference system (glass tube, AgCl and silver wire with cotton packing) improves reference stability and extends electrode life. Blue gel electrolyte does not flow and avoids air bubbles. Electrode dimensions are Ø12 × 115 mm with a measuring tip of Ø6 × 50 mm; recommended operating temperature is 0 to 80 °C. A BNC connector suits standard BNC pH meters; no integrated temperature sensor is included, so ATC needs a separate probe or manual entry. Pack size is 1 pc.

Questions about LabSen751 stainless steel spear pH electrode
What is this article?
LabSen751 stainless steel spear pH electrode is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes APERA Instruments for laboratory use. It sits in pH electrodes & sensors, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.
A pH electrode is a glass membrane and a reference. It is a consumable: the glass ages, the junction clogs, and the reading drifts. A refillable electrode and a gel electrode differ in how they are maintained. The connector has to match the meter. The electrode, not the meter, is usually what is wrong.
A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
