Description
LAUDA Microcool MC 600 recirculating cooler is a compact laboratory circulation chiller for reliable temperature control with a working range of −10 to 40 °C and temperature stability of 0,5 ± K (DIN 12876). A one-line LED display shows actual or setpoint values, supported by clear menu guidance and simple three-button operation together with a fully electronic continuous controller. The magnetically coupled block pump provides up to 1,3 bar and 35 L/min, with G 3/4'' external thread in/out connections, adjustable bypass for pressure limitation, winding-temperature monitoring, illuminated level indication and low-level alarm. Cooling capacity is 0,6 kW at 20 °C (ethanol), 0,5 kW at 10 °C, 0,36 kW at 0 °C and 0,15 kW at −10 °C. Filling volume spans 4 to 8 L; unit dimensions are 350 × 480 × 595 mm at 50 kg net weight and 57 dB(A). From manufacturer Lauda, the air-cooled unit offers RS 232 interface, auto-start timer and auto-shut-down, top filling port and rear drain, and runs on non-flammable fluids (water or water/glycol). Supply is 230 V; 50 Hz via angled Schuko cable (CEE7/7), max. power draw 0,7 kW / 4 A. Standard accessories include two 3/4'' hose olives with G 3/4 union nuts.

What is this article?
LAUDA Microcool MC 600 Circulation chille 230 V; 50 Hz is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Lauda for laboratory use. It sits in Circulators, chillers & thermostats, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A circulator or thermostat holds a bath liquid at a set temperature and pumps it through a jacket. A chiller is the same idea aimed below ambient. The temperature range, the cooling power and the pump flow are the three numbers. The fluid has to match the range.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
