LAUDA Versafreeze VF 70085 ultra-low temperature freezer is a laboratory upright freezer for long-term storage and quality assurance of organic substances and other materials. It operates from −86 to −50 °C with temperature constancy of ±2 K and homogeneity of 6 K at −86 °C, offering a 731 L stainless-steel interior with seven compartments, each fitted with an insulated door to limit cold loss. High-grade vacuum insulation reduces wall thickness and increases usable volume within external dimensions of 980 × 1179 × 1965 mm. A tightly routed cooling coil supports fast pull-down—from 20 °C to −86 °C in 7 h—plus strong temperature uniformity across the chamber. The energy-saving, maintenance-free cascade system uses fully hermetic high-performance compressors and natural refrigerants R-290 and R-170. A 4,3'' touchscreen with password-protected user management, adjustable over-/undertemperature alarms, potential-free alarm contact, battery-backed display and alarm functions, integrated data logger, Ethernet (IIoT ready) and RS 485 interfaces are provided by manufacturer Lauda.
