Macro cuvette type 110-QX is a precision spectroscopy cell fabricated from extended-range quartz glass for the wavelength range 200 nm to 3500 nm. The optical path length is 5 mm and the nominal fill volume is 1750 µl (0,00175 l), with a PTFE stopper for reliable sample containment in common spectrophotometers. High path-length accuracy and window parallelism support continuously reproducible measurement results across UV, visible and infrared applications. Thermally bonded construction from manufacturer Hellma replaces adhesive joints, delivering strong resistance to temperature and chemicals and helping prevent unintended liquid leakage. Selected extended-range quartz glasses provide excellent transmission greater than 83 % for exact photometric data. Chamfered edges enable safe, comfortable handling and minimise chipping risk during everyday laboratory work. The durable cells can be cleaned and reused over long periods as a sustainable alternative to single-use options. Manufacturing is carried out entirely in Germany under EN ISO 9001 and EN ISO 14001 and fulfils high optical standards; a declaration of conformity is available from the Hellma website, with further certificates on request.
