Description
Micro filter candle Ø 6 mm, porosity 2, height 15 mm with glass tube is a cylindrical VitraPOR® sintered-glass filter element made from borosilicate glass 3.3. The filter candle itself has a diameter of 6 mm and a height of 15 mm at porosity grade 2, and is permanently joined to a narrow glass tube of 6 mm diameter. Overall length of the assembly is 150 mm, making it convenient for immersion filtration, small-volume clarification or gas sparging in laboratory setups. Manufactured by ROBU - Stereon, the unit is supplied in packs of 5 pieces and is intended for non-sterile laboratory filtration applications. The compact cylindrical geometry and integrated glass tube allow easy mounting in flasks, reactors or custom glass apparatus. Porosity 2 provides a defined intermediate pore structure suitable for many routine solid–liquid separations. Dual-use classification is not applicable. This micro filter candle supports precise small-scale filtration work where borosilicate chemical resistance and thermal stability are required.
