Description

Microplate 384/V-PP Protein LoBind® is a 384-well microplate with clear wells, white frame and V-bottom geometry, engineered for outstanding protein sample recovery. Eppendorf LoBind® material delivers high recovery without surface coatings such as silicone, minimising the risk of sample interaction or loss. Wells hold 140 µL and the plates are batch-certified PCR clean—free from human DNA, DNase, RNase and PCR inhibitors. RecoverMax® well design optimises geometry to reduce residual and dead volume while supporting excellent mixing. Raised well rims together with a smooth surface ensure reliable sealing. The distinctive high-contrast OptiTrack® matrix speeds sample location by up to 30 % and helps reduce pipetting errors. Matching LoBind® formats are available as reaction vessels, microtest plates and deepwell plates for easy scale-up. These polypropylene plates from manufacturer Eppendorf come as 80 plates (5 bags × 16 plates) and are suited to protein assays, storage and analytical workflows that require low binding and certified purity for consistent experimental outcomes.

This article is part of Microplates, in Microplates, PCR & reaction tubes.

Questions about Microplate384/V-PP clear/white Pro 80pl

What is this article?

Microplate384/V-PP clear/white Pro 80pl is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Eppendorf for laboratory use. It sits in Microplates, inside Microplates, PCR & reaction tubes, in Lab consumables.

A microplate is an array of wells, commonly 96 or 384, in clear, black or white plastic. Clear is for absorbance. Black is for fluorescence. The well shape, flat or round bottom, and whether the plate is sterile and treated for cells, are the specification. Not every 96-well plate fits every reader.

A microplate is an array of wells so the same step can be done many times. A deep-well plate holds more volume. A PCR plate or a strip of tubes is thin-walled so the temperature of a cycler reaches the liquid quickly. A seal keeps the well from evaporating. The well number, the working volume and whether the plate is skirted for a robot are the choices. Diagnostic test systems are listed under ISO in vitro diagnostic systems. Methods are on PubMed.
