Description
KM CO2 - FL small shaker is a compact orbital laboratory shaker intended for use inside CO2 incubators and other controlled atmospheres. It provides a gentle circular shaking motion on a 200 × 295 mm platform with a 20 mm stroke and accepts loads up to 2 kg. Rotational speed is adjustable from 5 to 220 min-1 in increments of 5, while the integrated timer covers run times from 0 to 99 h 59 min; both values are shown on a clear LED display. The instrument is specified for ambient temperatures of 4 °C to 45 °C, relative humidity up to approximately 95 % non-condensing and CO2 concentrations up to 20 %. Soft-start behaviour, a direct-drive system without belts and stainless-steel components keep heat emission to a maximum of 4 W, protecting sensitive cultures. An external control unit linked by a 120 cm flat ribbon cable permits convenient operation from outside the incubator chamber. Overall dimensions are 230 × 340 × 145 mm and net weight is 7,6 kg. Electrical connection is 230 V, 50/60 Hz with protection class IP 21. The package from manufacturer Bühler includes the base unit with rubber-mat attachment (without clamping strips) and the external control unit.

Questions about Miniature Shaker KM CO2 - FL
What is this article?
Miniature Shaker KM CO2 - FL is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Bühler for laboratory use. It sits in Sieve shakers, inside Test sieves & mills, in Lab instruments.
A sieve shaker repeats a throw so a particle-size test does not depend on who shook the stack. The amplitude, the timer and the frame diameter it accepts are the specification. A shaker for 200 mm frames does not hold a 300 mm stack.
A test sieve sorts particles by whether they pass an opening. Wire mesh and perforated plate are two ways of making that opening, and the nominal size is not a suggestion. A sieve shaker repeats the motion so the result does not depend on how hard someone shook by hand. A mill or grinder makes the particles smaller before they are sieved. The certificate of the sieve, and the opening size, are what an audit asks for. Measurement practice around mass and dimension sits with the BIPM, EURAMET and BELAC.
Which category should I open next?
The category is Test sieves & mills. The sub-category is Sieve shakers. The catalogue is Lab instruments.
Shelves beside this one are Test sieves (wire mesh), Test sieves (perforated plate), Mills, grinders & homogenisers and Sieve accessories (lids, pans, rings).
What should I check before I order?
When this page shows a safety data sheet, use that manufacturer file. Hazard text does not belong in the sales description. For a pack size, a grade or a certificate that is not on the page, send a quote request or contact the team.
