Description

The muffle furnace 13 L 1100 °C is an electric laboratory furnace developed for material testing, heat treatment and firing of ceramic and stone samples. It is suitable for use in laboratories, educational institutions, ceramic studios and industrial laboratories. The continuous chamber is manufactured from a vacuum fibre module with heating elements integrated in the fibre and high-quality ecological thermal insulation material. A microprocessor-controlled temperature controller (Omron E5CC) is fitted as standard, together with a door switch and ceramic base plate. Lightweight construction ensures short heat-up times, low energy consumption and good temperature stability and distribution throughout the working space. From manufacturer SnolTherm, the furnace provides a usable chamber volume of 13 l and a maximum operating temperature of 1100 °C. Internal chamber dimensions are 220 mm width, 335 mm depth and 170 mm height. Rated power is 1,8 kW at 230 V, 50 Hz, single-phase supply. Temperature stability in the chamber after equilibration without charge is ±1 °C, with temperature uniformity of ±10 °C. External dimensions are 505 × 685 × 555 mm and net weight is 38 kg. The unit is intended for reliable routine thermal processing in research and production environments.

Questions about Muffelofen 13L 1100°C

What is this article?

Muffelofen 13L 1100°C is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes SnolTherm for laboratory use. It sits in Muffle & tube furnaces, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

A muffle furnace surrounds a sample with heat for ashing or ignition, often to 1100 °C. A tube furnace heats a sample in a controlled atmosphere inside a tube. The maximum temperature and the chamber size are the specification. A drying oven is not a furnace.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
