MultiDrive MI 250-S is a specially sealed 250 ml grinding chamber with beater, designed for dry grinding of a wide range of materials when used with the MultiDrive basic drive unit. Suitable applications include wood, animal feed, frozen products and plastics. The special vessel seal permits pressure relief through the lid during comminution of very fine powders while a specialised foam retains the product inside the vessel. The grinding chamber requires manual cleaning; the beater is easily dismantled for intensive cleaning. A standard stainless-steel beater is supplied as standard. Other tools, such as a stainless-steel star knife or a hard-metal beater, are available separately from manufacturer IKA. This tight-sealing accessory expands the MultiDrive platform for demanding laboratory sample preparation where containment of fine powders is essential and reliable dry-grinding performance is required.
