MultiDrive MI 250-T-S grinding chamber is a specially sealed 250 ml vessel equipped with a beater and integrated temperature sensor for dry grinding of diverse sample materials. When paired with the MultiDrive control unit from manufacturer IKA, it supports applications such as processing wood, animal feed, frozen products and plastics. The specialised vessel seal permits controlled pressure relief via the lid during the comminution of very fine powders, while a special foam retains the product securely within the chamber. An integrated temperature sensor enables continuous monitoring together with individual setting of temperature limits, a feature of particular importance for temperature-sensitive materials. Manual cleaning of the grinding chamber is required; the beater itself can be readily dismantled to facilitate intensive cleaning. A standard stainless steel beater is included in the scope of delivery. Additional selectable tools, for example a stainless steel star knife or a hard-metal beater, can be obtained separately to match specific grinding requirements.
