Description
N 6180 is a pH combination electrode equipped with a plug head and glass shaft for general laboratory pH measurement. It operates over the full 0 to 14 pH range and a temperature window of −5 to +100 °C. Construction includes a ceramic diaphragm, KCl 3 mol/l electrolyte and Silamid® reference system together with a spherical A-glass membrane. The electrode measures 170 mm in length with a 12 mm shaft diameter, providing a practical format for beakers and standard sample vessels. Electrical connection is realised through the plug-head interface. Available as a single unit from manufacturer SI Analytics – a Xylem brand, the sensor is suited to routine analytical work, quality control and teaching laboratories. Glass-shaft durability and the ceramic junction deliver stable readings in aqueous media when paired with compatible pH meters and cables.

Questions about N 6180, pH combination electrode with plug head with glass shaft, ceramic
What is this article?
N 6180, pH combination electrode with plug head with glass shaft, ceramic is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes SI Analytics - a Xylem brand for laboratory use. It sits in Stirring shafts, propellers & impellers, inside Stirring, shaking & mixing, in Lab instruments.
A shaft, a propeller or an impeller is the wetted end of an overhead stirrer. The diameter and the pitch decide whether the liquid turns over. The material, stainless steel or PTFE, decides what the liquid may be. The chuck size has to match the stirrer.
Stirring keeps a mixture uniform or helps a solid dissolve. A magnetic stirrer spins a bar inside a closed vessel. An overhead stirrer drives a shaft when the liquid is viscous or the volume is large. A vortex mixer agitates a tube. A shaker moves a whole rack or a plate. The shape of the impeller and the speed decide whether the liquid turns over or merely spins. The vessels being stirred are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
