Description
neochrom® ND20 headspace vials, 10 ml clear glass, with dimensions 46 × 22,5 mm, DIN crimp neck and round bottom, are designed for headspace sampling on compatible gas chromatography instruments. All vials are produced from glass of the first hydrolytic class to support reliable analytical performance. A rounded bottom remains more stable at high internal pressure during tempering and eases insertion into the heating block when magnetic handling is applied. The DIN crimp-neck format matches common ND20 closure systems used across headspace autosamplers. Clear glass permits rapid visual control of sample volume and appearance before sealing. Headspace vials differ by volume, base geometry, rim style and neck length; this 10 ml clear round-bottom DIN crimp variant covers a widely used configuration. Supplied in packs of 100 pieces from manufacturer neolab - Labor, the vials support standardised sample preparation in environmental, food, pharmaceutical and industrial GC laboratories.

Questions about neochrom® ND20 Headspace Flaschen, 10ml Klarglas, 46 x 22,5 mm, DIN-Rollrand, ge
What is this article?
neochrom® ND20 Headspace Flaschen, 10ml Klarglas, 46 x 22,5 mm, DIN-Rollrand, ge is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes neolab for laboratory use. It sits in Vial caps & septa, inside Vials, caps & septa, in Chromatography equipment.
A vial cap and a septum have to match the vial neck: crimp, screw or snap, and the diameter. The septum material, PTFE/silicone or rubber, decides chemical resistance and how many times a needle can pierce it. A septum that sheds into the solvent becomes ghost peaks.
An autosampler vial is the small closed bottle a chromatograph picks up. The neck is crimp, screw or snap, and the cap and the septum have to be that neck. The septum is the part the needle pierces. A soft septum reseals. A septum that is wrong for the solvent swells or sheds particles into the sample. Inserts reduce the volume when the sample is scarce. The separation they feed is described with IUPAC names and PubChem data.
