Description

neochrom® UltraBond screw caps ND24 with hole combine a white polypropylene cap and a bonded silicone natural/PTFE beige septum into one inseparable unit, so the septum cannot be pushed into the vial by a blunt needle. Caps feature a 24-400 thread and a centre hole of 15 mm diameter for syringe or autosampler access. The EPA-quality silicone/PTFE septum is rated from −60 °C to +200 °C, has a thickness of 3,2 mm and a hardness of 45° Shore A, and is intended for single-injection use. UltraBond construction improves handling reliability in high-throughput chromatography and environmental sample workflows. Supplied as 100 pieces per pack, these closures support consistent sealing on matching ND24 bottles. The neochrom® UltraBond range from manufacturer neolab - Labor is suited to GC and HPLC sample introduction where septum retention and clean needle penetration matter. Natural silicone with beige PTFE facing balances reseal behaviour and chemical inertness for typical laboratory solvents. Ideal when open-top ND24 screw caps with a firmly fixed septum are required.

Questions about neochrom® UltraBond Schraubkappen ND24 m. Loch, Silikon natur/PTFE beige, 100 St

What is this article?

neochrom® UltraBond Schraubkappen ND24 m. Loch, Silikon natur/PTFE beige, 100 St is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes neolab for laboratory use. It sits in Screw caps & closures, inside Stoppers, caps & closures, in Labware.

A screw cap has a thread and a liner. The thread has to match the bottle. The liner has to survive the liquid: a pulp liner fails in a solvent that a PTFE-faced liner ignores. The colour of the cap is not the specification.

A closure is the part that decides whether a bottle stays shut and whether the contents attack the seal. A ground-glass stopper matches a ground neck. A screw cap needs the right thread and a liner that survives the liquid. Rubber and silicone stoppers push into a mouth. The liner, not the colour of the cap, is the chemical choice. The vessels they close are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
