Description
ORP60-Z Smart ORP pocket meter is a latest-generation redox tester that simplifies accurate ORP and temperature analysis of water samples. Pairing the instrument with a smartphone activates the ZenTest Mobile App’s step-by-step guidance, yet the meter can also be operated completely independently. An alarm alerts the user when the measuring range is exceeded, while the app provides multiple display modes for precise readings or rapid trend overviews and supports cloud-based data management for direct e-mail sharing of measurement and calibration results. ORP is measured over ±1000 mV with 1 mV resolution and ±0,2 % F.S. accuracy; temperature covers 0 to 50 °C at 0,1 °C resolution and ±0,5 °C accuracy. Four AAA batteries deliver up to 1000 hours of operation. The IP67 housing is waterproof and floatable; dimensions are 40×40×178 mm (case 255×210×50 mm) and weight is 133 g (700 g with case). Supplied as a complete kit from manufacturer APERA Instruments, the set contains the ORP60-Z meter, 222 mV calibration solution (50 ml), calibration vial, 3M KCl electrode storage solution, carrying strap and carrying case. The instrument carries a 2-year manufacturer warranty (6 months on the electrode) and is compatible with the ORP60-DE electrode.

Questions about ORP60-Z Smart Pocket ORP Tester (powered by ZenTest Mobile App)
What is this article?
ORP60-Z Smart Pocket ORP Tester (powered by ZenTest Mobile App) is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes APERA Instruments for laboratory use. It sits in pH meters, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.
A pH meter reads the electrode and displays pH, after calibration with at least two buffers. A meter that cannot be calibrated is a voltmeter. Resolution to 0.001 is not the same as accuracy. Portable and benchtop meters differ in the electrodes they accept and in the data they store.
A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
