PharmaPicker, V4A, with collection chamber for 1,25–2,5 ml is a stainless-steel powder sampler for collecting very small sample amounts of highly potent, expensive or active powders. Target volumes from 0,1 ml to 2,5 ml are achieved by exchanging volume tips in the collection chambers for 0,1–1,2 ml or 1,25–2,5 ml; this configuration is supplied with the chamber for 1,25–2,5 ml. The unit is 60 cm long and can be extended several times by 50 cm or 100 cm sections up to a maximum length of 3,50 m, supporting deeper insertion points. Manufactured from electropolished V4A stainless steel (Bürkle), the sampler is operated by inserting the PharmaPicker, allowing the sliding sleeve to close the collection chamber automatically, then slightly withdrawing at the target point so the sleeve opens and the desired powder is collected. After full withdrawal, the collection chamber is removed and the sample emptied directly into the analysis vessel. Net weight is 0,469 kg. The design suits pharmaceutical and laboratory point sampling where minimal, controlled powder quantities are essential.
