Description

Polyblock for 3 x 28 mm reaction vessels (vials) is a chemically resistant attachment segment for a maximum of three reagent vessels (vials) with 28 mm diameter. The segment is made of aluminium and is suitable for heating temperatures up to 260 °C. Together with the StarFish base plate, the PolyBlocks form basic elements of the complete StarFish multi-reaction system. These PolyBlocks from manufacturer Heidolph are modular attachment segments that can be combined for reaction vessels of different sizes, allowing a maximum of five different inserts per StarFish system. The aluminium construction supports efficient heat transfer for parallel reaction workflows while remaining resistant to common laboratory chemicals. With a net weight of 0,515 kg, the unit provides a stable, compact platform for multi-vessel heating setups. Laboratories performing chemical synthesis or process development benefit from the flexible configuration options that integrate seamlessly into existing StarFish arrangements for uniform thermal performance across accommodated vials.

Questions about Polyblock for 3 x 28 mm cylindrical vials

What is this article?

Polyblock for 3 x 28 mm cylindrical vials is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Heidolph for laboratory use. It sits in Heating & cooling (other), inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.

This shelf holds heating and cooling equipment that is not a furnace, a mantle, a bath, an oven or an incubator. The question is still the range, the stability and what the heat actually touches.

Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
