Description
Protegra CS PRO RO EDI 1000 is a reverse osmosis system with Ionpure continuous electrodeionisation (CEDI) for deionised-water applications, delivering up to 1000 l/h at 15 °C. Typical product conductivity is below 0,07 µS/cm (performance specified < 0,1 µS/cm). Energy-efficient polyamide/polysulfone RO modules achieve high inorganic rejection and permeate output while limiting energy use and water loss. The Ionpure CEDI cell removes residual salts without chemical exhaustion. Automatic flushing before standby reduces ion build-up on the RO membranes and supports membrane life. A microprocessor controller with a front 7'' touch panel provides automatic operation, continuous monitoring of feed, permeate and pure-water conductivity, volumetric flows, alarms, concentrate-drain and module-flush scheduling, multilingual menus, USB transfer and microSD logging. Removable front and side panels ease service access. Dimensions are 650 mm width, 780 mm depth and 1795 mm height; net weight is 295 kg. Electrical supply is 400 V 3/N/PE 50/60 Hz at 3,0 kW. This system from manufacturer Evoqua Water Technologies includes operating instructions, wiring diagram, 5 µm Big Blue fine-filter cartridge, filter wrench and power cable.

Questions about Protegra CS PRO RO EDI 1000 - Reverse Osmosis with Ionpure EDI, 1000 l/h
What is this article?
Protegra CS PRO RO EDI 1000 - Reverse Osmosis with Ionpure EDI, 1000 l/h is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Evoqua Water Technologies for laboratory use. It sits in Ultrapure & pure water systems, inside Water purification, in Lab instruments.
A pure-water system, often by reverse osmosis and deionisation, feeds the laboratory. An ultrapure polisher takes that water to the resistivity and organic levels HPLC or cell culture ask for. Production rate and the feed water it expects are the specification. The system is not a cooler.
Laboratory water is a reagent. Tap water carries ions, organics and microbes that become part of every result they touch. A pure-water system takes most of them out. An ultrapure system, often a polisher after a first stage, is what HPLC, cell culture and trace analysis ask for. Resistivity, total organic carbon and endotoxin are different claims. A cartridge is spent when the number drifts, not when the calendar says so. The measurement of those impurities sits with NIST and the BIPM.
Which category should I open next?
