Ringer’s solution does not act as a revitaliser.For dilution of food samples or substances that have undergone thermal treatment, it is more advisable to use peptone water (Art. no. 1L8H) or Maximum Recovery Solution (Art. no. 1L84) for the dilutions, these act as revitalisers.
