Description

Rotilabo® stand rod, unthreaded, is a stainless steel laboratory stand rod with a length of 1250 mm and a diameter of 12 mm. It is intended for building modular support structures used with stand plates, bases, frames and attachment hardware in the laboratory. The plain unthreaded profile allows clamps, bosses and holders to be positioned freely along the rod when assembling apparatus for routine bench work, teaching or research set-ups. Manufactured in stainless steel, the rod provides a durable vertical or horizontal support element that matches common 12 mm stand systems. Each unit is supplied as 1 pc and has a weight of 1,100 kg. This Rotilabo® component from manufacturer ROTH SELECTION fits into standard laboratory frameworks where an unthreaded rod of defined length and diameter is required. It is suitable for use alongside compatible bases and connectors when organising platforms, frames and attachment points for glassware, instruments or fixtures. Select the 1250 mm length when extended reach is needed within existing stand assemblies without introducing a threaded shaft.

Questions about Rotilabo®-stand rod, unthreaded, L 1250 mm, Ø 12 mm, stainl. steel, 1 unit(s)

What is this article?

Rotilabo®-stand rod, unthreaded, L 1250 mm, Ø 12 mm, stainl. steel, 1 unit(s) is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carl Roth for laboratory use. It sits in Stands, rods & bases, inside Stands, clamps & racks, in Labware.

A retort stand is a base and a rod. The base mass keeps a clamped flask from tipping. Rod diameter decides which bossheads fit. A light base under a heavy condenser is how glassware falls.

A stand, a clamp and a rack hold something still so the hands can do the work. A bosshead locks a clamp to a rod. A test-tube rack keeps tubes upright and in an order the operator can read back. The failure is almost always mechanical: the clamp slips, or the rack does not match the tube diameter. The glass they support is indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
