Description

Rotilabo®-T-shapes are polypropylene T-connectors for laboratory hose systems used in liquid handling. Made from PP in a natural colour, each fitting has an outer diameter of 16 mm and forms a compact branching point for flexible tubing on the bench. The T-geometry lets a single line split into two paths or two streams join into one, supporting organised fluid routing in sampling lines, transfer setups and general labware assemblies. They are supplied in a pack of 10 pieces with a total weight of 0,074 kg, giving a practical stock quantity for routine work. These Rotilabo® hose connectors from manufacturer ROTH SELECTION suit research, quality-control and teaching laboratories that need simple, chemically resistant polypropylene fittings for everyday tubing networks. Natural PP keeps the appearance clear and uncoloured, which aids visual checks when seating hoses and verifying joints during setup or maintenance. Matched to 16 mm outer-diameter tubing, the pieces integrate readily into existing hose and accessory systems without complex adapters.

Questions about Rotilabo®-T-shapes, PP, natural, outer-Ø 16 mm, 10 unit(s)

What is this article?

Rotilabo®-T-shapes, PP, natural, outer-Ø 16 mm, 10 unit(s) is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carl Roth for laboratory use. It sits in Hose connectors, adapters & fittings, inside Tubing, hoses & fittings, in Labware.

A hose connector or adapter joins two lines, or steps one bore down to another. The barb diameter has to match the tube, and the thread has to match the stopcock or the bottle. Most leaks are a mismatch here, not a hole in the tube.

Tubing is how a liquid or a gas moves between two vessels without being poured. Silicone stays flexible and survives repeated autoclaving. PTFE resists almost every solvent and is stiff. PVC is the ordinary flexible line for water and for mild aqueous work. The fitting, not the tube, is what usually leaks: the barb, the thread and the stopcock have to match the tube bore. Glass and plastic apparatus around these lines is indexed under ISO laboratory ware.
