Description
RV 10 auto pro V-C is a fully redesigned rotary evaporator and flagship of its product line, combining a brilliant TFT colour graphic display, integrated vacuum controller, cooling-water monitoring and advanced safety features for efficient, safe and economical laboratory distillation. Automatic vacuum and cooling-water regulation, together with intuitive menu guidance, quickly lead the user to the desired result. Specially developed glass guides allow the transparent-coated vertical condenser to utilise its 1500 cm² cooling surface with high efficiency while remaining compact. Extended ramp programming supports up to ten individual procedures; soft start, interval right-left rotation and a timer further streamline daily work. A motorised lift with safety-stop automatically raises the evaporating flask from the heating bath on power failure. Adjustable safety temperature circuits, dry-run protection, end-position detection against glass breakage and a lock function add further protection. Supplied complete with vacuum hoses, water connections and the IKA Vacstar digital pump controlled directly from the drive unit via data cable, the system from manufacturer IKA also offers USB and RS-232 interfaces for labworldsoft remote control and firmware updates. The 4-litre universal safety heating bath operates from RT to 180 °C with optimised volume for rapid heat-up and ergonomic carrying handles; an integrated solvent library holds 40 expandable entries and automatic boiling-point detection is included.
