Its optimised bath volume supports rapid heat-up, while purpose-designed glass guides let the condenser use the 1500 cm² cooling surface with high efficiency. Soft start, interval right-left rotation and a timer function assist everyday workflows. From manufacturer IKA, the unit features a motorised lift with safety-stop that automatically raises the evaporating flask from the bath on power failure. Individually adjustable safety temperature circuits, dry-run protection, adjustable end-position detection to reduce glass breakage risk and a lock function further protect the user and glassware. The 4-litre universal water/oil safety heating bath includes ergonomic carrying handles and is controlled from the operating unit via infrared interface.
