Description
RV 8 FLEX rotary evaporator is the manual base unit among rotary evaporators, intended for versatile use in chemistry, pharmacy and the bioindustry across research and development, production, quality assurance, laboratories and plant engineering. Digital displays for rotation speed and heating bath temperature allow optimal control of distillation processes. The unit is equipped with a 4-litre water-oil heating bath with carrying handles, a key lock for securing bath temperature and a clear black-and-white glass display. Integrated safety elevation of the lift activates automatically in the event of power failure. A Woulff bottle is included in the scope of delivery. The locking mechanism provides a red indication for the unlocked position of the vapour tube. Manual lift enables precise positioning of glassware, with adjustable immersion angle and one-hand operation suitable for left- and right-handed users. Speed range is 5 – 300 min⁻¹. Flask clamping incorporates an integrated push-off device for straightforward flask exchange. Operator safety is supported by 24 V low voltage inside the instrument. Full compatibility with the IKA RV 10 glassware range completes this flexible laboratory evaporator from manufacturer IKA.
