Safety Waste Cap "LISA" V3.0 Extension Funnel is a modular expansion element for the safe disposal of liquid HPLC and UHPLC waste. It forms part of the latest generation of a modern, universally expandable modular system offering a wide choice of individual threads, connections and expansion options. The base module comprises a Safety Waste Cap LISA with the selected thread size; a further 23 accessory parts are included so the assembly is ready for immediate use. A funnel or an exhaust air filter can be connected to the Safety Waste Cap LISA. Blind plugs and satellites allow components such as a funnel to be extended and secured. Hose connectors accept larger tubing with 5–11,5 mm internal diameter. A PTFE satellite ensures optimal chemical resistance. The 360° freely rotatable screw cap permits simple container changes without twisting the tubing. Improved fittings ease connection of capillaries with 1,6 mm, 2,3 mm or 3,2 mm outer diameter. Exhaust-filter ports from manufacturer SCAT use optimised activated carbon to block harmful vapours and maintain safe pressure equalisation in waste containers. The extension is manufactured from high-density polyethylene (HDPE).
