The configuration includes ultrasonic generator GM 5200, ultrasonic transducer UW 5200, sonotrode TT 213 with a diameter of 13 mm for working volumes of 20–900 ml, booster horn SH 200 G, and the mounting tool for the sonotrodes. Amplitude can be set from 10 to 100 % with actual-value display; pulsation, an integrated timer and remote operation support controlled processing. The AMPLICHRON® circuit keeps the amplitude constant even when process conditions change. Typical uses cover disruption of cells, bacteria, viruses and tissue, preparation of fine emulsions, homogenisation of substances, degassing of liquids, sample preparation for particle-size analysis and acceleration of chemical reactions.
