Description
SONOPULS TS 225 titanium sonotrode is a high-performance ultrasonic probe with a radiating diameter of 25 mm, designed for connection to the SH 200 G horn on HD 4200 systems. Sonotrodes transfer mechanical oscillations into the sample; they are thermally stable, autoclavable and resistant to corrosive media. Sample volume, vessel diameter and the required amplitude determine instrument and sonotrode selection; higher amplitude delivers more intensive sonication. The probe attaches to stepped or booster horns and is manufactured from the titanium alloy TiAl6V4 (3.7165). Supplied as a single package from manufacturer Bandelin, this accessory is intended for ultrasonic homogenisation, cell disruption, emulsification and sample preparation in research and industrial laboratories. Robust titanium construction ensures long service life under demanding process conditions while maintaining consistent energy transfer into liquid media.
