The complete set consists of five stainless-steel holders of 155 mm and three stainless-steel holders of 215 mm, giving a total of eight pieces. These holders from manufacturer Bandelin keep flasks stable during sonication while ensuring optimal acoustic coupling between the sample and the contact liquid, thereby enabling efficient, low-loss ultrasound transmission. Suitable for flask volumes from 10 ml to 250 ml, the compartments can be arranged as longitudinal or transverse dividers and attached quickly by means of small hooks at any position on the basket rim. No tools are required for mounting or for adjusting compartment size to different flask geometries. The system supports reliable sample preparation steps such as homogenisation, extraction and degassing in SONOREX ultrasonic baths. Use together with the GV 10 handle adjustment is recommended to maintain correct bath fill level and to avoid overflow of the flasks.
