Description
STAMMOPUR DB is a ready-to-use solution for manual bur disinfection and intensive cleaning in the ultrasonic bath, intended for dental rotating and non-rotating small and precision instruments as well as endodontic micro-instruments such as burs, cutters, diamond grinders and root canal instruments. It can also be applied without ultrasound in a bur bath by immersion and supports instrument reprocessing in dental practices and clinics, including final disinfection. Supplied as a ready-to-use pack from manufacturer Bandelin, the preparation is VAH-listed and combines high cleaning performance in the indirect ultrasonic bath with corrosion protection during use and biological degradability. Material compatibility is very high for steel, hard metal (including diamond-coated), titanium, glass, porcelain, ceramics and plastics; it is not suitable for alkali- or alcohol-sensitive materials such as aluminium, anodised parts, resin-bonded instruments, applied colour coding or ceramic grinding bodies. Use undiluted, prepared cold and not additionally heated (max. 35 °C). Bactericidal, fungicidal, tuberculocidal, mycobactericidal and virucidal efficacy under high load is reached in 5 minutes with or without ultrasound. Per 100 g the formulation contains 30,0 g 2-propanol and 0,1 g didecyldimethylammonium chloride plus sodium hydroxide, inhibitors and inorganic salts; the product pH range is strongly alkaline. No additives may be mixed into the cleaning solution.
