Pipetting ball Standard (Peleus ball), blue, is a manual pipette filler made from natural rubber (NR) with high chemical resistance for everyday laboratory liquid handling. Operation uses three valves: evacuate via the A valve, aspirate by pressing the S valve, and empty by pressing the E valve, after which residual liquid can be blown out of the pipette; manual expulsion of the final drop is also possible. The conical opening accepts pipette stems with an inner diameter range of 4,2–7,1 mm. The ball is suitable for pipettes up to about 100 ml capacity, with a maximum pipetting volume of approximately 40 ml. This classic Peleus-style design supports controlled filling and dispensing without mouth pipetting and fits general wet-chemistry, teaching and quality-control benches.
