Temperature probe with clamp bracket, thermocouple type K is a surface sensor for pipe-temperature measurements on diameters from 5 to 65 mm. The clamp bracket enables fast, secure attachment of the probe to the pipe without tools. Short-term measurements up to +280 °C are possible; continuous use is specified up to +130 °C. A particularly short response time of 5 seconds is achieved by the sprung thermocouple band, which quickly assumes the true surface temperature and also works on non-planar surfaces. The replaceable thermocouple band can be exchanged if damaged. Cable length is 1,2 m. This type K class 2 probe from manufacturer Testo offers a standardised accuracy of ±2,5 °C and is supplied as 1 pc. It is intended for surface monitoring on heating, process and laboratory pipework where rapid, repeatable readings are essential. The spring-band design ensures good thermal contact even on curved or slightly irregular tubes.
