Description
Immersion resistance thermometer WT-MI-303-D-30E is a Pt100 sensor assembly for immersion temperature measurement according to DIN EN 60751 Class A in 4-wire configuration. It combines a stainless-steel sheathed measuring element with a fixed stainless-steel transition sleeve of ø 6 × 40 mm and a permanently attached connection cable for reliable laboratory and process use.
This article is part of Laboratory glass thermometers, in Temperature measurement.
The sheath diameter is 3 mm with a nominal length of 300 mm. The connected lead is 4 × 0,22 mm², Teflon/silicone insulated, 2 m long, with the cable exit secured by heat-shrink tubing. Operating range covers −90 °C to +350 °C. Connection is via a Physics plug offering 0,01 °C resolution, making the probe suitable for PHYSICS 100 and PHYSICS 300 instruments. This immersion resistance thermometer from manufacturer Schneider (type WT-MI-303) supports precise immersion measurements where Class A Pt100 accuracy and robust stainless-steel construction are required in temperature monitoring and calibration-related laboratory tasks.

Questions about Temperature probe, WT-MI-303-D-40E # Standard
What is this article?
Temperature probe, WT-MI-303-D-40E # Standard is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Schneider for laboratory use. It sits in Laboratory glass thermometers, inside Temperature measurement, in Lab instruments.
A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column, often with a stated immersion depth, total or partial. The range and the division decide the reading. A partial-immersion thermometer read at the wrong depth is wrong by design.
A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
