Description

The testo 410i vane anemometer with smartphone operation is a compact instrument for measuring air velocity and temperature at air outlets and ventilation grilles, and for determining and balancing volume flow. Pocket-sized design keeps it ready for planned and unplanned HVAC checks throughout the working day. Professional sensing technology from manufacturer Testo is combined with the testo Smart Probes App, so a smartphone or tablet becomes the on-site display and documentation tool. All readings can be viewed in the app and final protocols sent immediately by e-mail as PDF or Excel files. Volume-flow configuration is simplified by intuitive entry of outlet dimensions and geometry; multiple outlets can be compared side by side when balancing a ventilation system. Time and point averaging quickly indicate mean air velocity across a grille. System requirements are iOS 8.3 or newer, Android 4.3 or newer and Bluetooth 4.0. Net weight is 0,28 kg. Supplied as 1 pc for laboratory, facility and building-services measurement tasks.

This article is part of Digital thermometers, in Temperature measurement.

Questions about testo 410 i - Vane anemometer, with, smartphone operation

What is this article?

testo 410 i - Vane anemometer, with, smartphone operation is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Testo for laboratory use. It sits in Digital thermometers, inside Temperature measurement, in Lab instruments.

A digital thermometer is a display plus a sensor. The resolution on the screen can be finer than the accuracy. The stated accuracy and the calibration point are what the number is worth. The probe type has to be the one the meter expects.

A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
